De Kock then shared a half-century partnership with Angkrish in just 30 balls and from here Rajasthan’s defeat was certain.
Disappointing performance of Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals lost the toss and from here its problems started. Samson and Jaiswal gave the team a fast start but in the fourth over Vaibhav Arora gave KKR the first success by taking a wicket. After Samson’s dismissal, Riyan Parag batted fast but during this Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed for 29 runs. Riyan Parag was also dismissed by Varun Chakraborty for 25 runs. Nitish Rana could also score only 8 runs. Hasaranga scored 4 runs. Dhruv Jurel somehow scored 33 runs and Rajasthan’s team crossed 150.
Kolkata’s spinners did wonders
Spinners were the heroes of Kolkata’s victory. Varun Chakraborty took 2 wickets for just 17 runs in 4 overs. Moeen Ali also took 2 wickets for 23 runs. Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora took 2 wickets each.
